WATERCOLOR CLASSES beginning December 9th and 10th, 2009

Eight-Week Watercolor Classes

We will be making any necessary adjustments for the holidays.

Eight-Week Watercolor Classes:

The Wednesday morning class meets from 10-noon beginning December 9th. $105
The Thursday afternoon class meets from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. beginning December 10th. $105

We will cover color mixing and controlling the application of the watercolor on the paper. We will do some experimenting with the use of triads - don't let this scare you, it's just a very simple way of mixing colors and setting the mood of a painting.

We will study the importance of value contrasts (lights and darks) and learn how to achieve those darks.

With individual assistance and critique, along with plenty of demonstrations and instruction, beginners, as well as the more experienced will be comfortable in these classes.

The classes meet in my home studio in Petoskey.
